Sacy is a Petite Montagne village with a moderately sized vineyard area on east-facing slopes, where Pinot Noir accounts for around half of plantings, an unusually high share for the subregion. Like Écueil further west, Sacy breaks the Meunier-dominant pattern that defines the rest of the Petite Montagne. A handful of small grower estates have built reputations here, including one that joined the Special Club producer association in 1971.
