Pargny-lès-Reims sits on northeast-facing mid-slopes on the northern Montagne de Reims, with a small vineyard area where Pinot Meunier accounts for an exceptionally high share, among the most Meunier-pure mixes in all of Champagne. There is no famous resident house, but the unusual grape mix gives the village a quietly distinctive identity in the Petite Montagne, where most villages still hold a meaningful share of Pinot Noir or Chardonnay alongside their Meunier.
