Bezannes is a Reims southwestern suburb with only a tiny vineyard area remaining, on what was once a more substantial slope before urban expansion absorbed most of the land. The vines are entirely Chardonnay. There are no resident producers, and the parcels are owned by growers based in other villages. The Premier Cru status reflects the historical productivity of the slope rather than any modern identity.
